Finding cash money in this environment would be
hard to do. And with the "ways of the world these
days" the odds of an honest person to turn in found money
would be a miracle. This young woman shared the heartache
over her lost money and also that her dear husband was in Iraq
in the war. She had only this little bit of money to last
her until next payday from overseas.
She was heart broken at her loss.
Mr. Shreffler
shared her story and loss to the crowd. As the day carried
on ... a MIRACLE happened! Her money was FOUND! And
to top it ALL OFF ... a local Veteran brought a challenge to the
crowd ... pass the hat to help this young woman and her
baby. Not only did Mr. Shreffler get to take her $70 ...
but $230 more. Friends and neighbours shared their love!
Now that's what COMMUNITY IS ALL ABOUT!
With tears in
his eyes ... Mr. Shreffler expressed just how
"special Amelia Day was to him and to ALL".
What blessings
the Lord has given us all - the gift of life, the gift of
neighbours, the gift of love,
the gift of sharing and caring for one another!
