Amelia Day ... Written by Don Shreffler (Amelia Bulletin Monitor)

At 9:30 a.m. this Saturday, May 10, opening ceremonies will start the day for Amelia Day ’08.

Our county will be 273 years old and forever looking forward into the future by always mindful of our proud heritage and where we came from. You don’t get to be 273 years old by being lucky. We’ve worked hard to get here and as that old ad from the past states, “You’ve come a long way, baby!” Come out and join us on Saturday for Amelia Day.
